Applications for the inaugural 2025 Summer Academy are now open on a rolling basis.

Given the highly competitive nature of the programme, applicants are strongly advised to apply early and to ensure that their submission materials are complete. We cannot consider incomplete applications. Candidates are considered on a rolling admissions basis. Admissions decisions are made according to three gathered fields.

The submission deadlines are:

Personal Statement

The personal statement (750–1000 words) should articulate your motivation for joining the Oxbridge Diplomatic Academy and demonstrate how your academic background, professional experiences, and personal attributes align with the programme’s objectives. Discuss your career aspirations, the skills you hope to develop through the programme, and how you envision contributing to the field. Admissions tutors seek evidence of critical and independent thought, a genuine passion for international relations, and the potential to contribute meaningfully to the field.

Reference 1

Submit the contact details of two individuals familiar with your academic, professional, and/or leadership abilities. Upon receipt of your application we will request letters of recommendation from your referees. Ideally, referees should highlight specific examples that demonstrate your readiness for the rigorous demands of the programme and your potential to contribute meaningfully to international affairs. Letters should be printed on official letterhead.
